I'm the founder of Mind Right Sport Psychology. hold a doctoral degree in Sport & Performance Psychology with an emphasis in Positive Leadership and a master's degree and professional licensure in traditional counseling.
I coach in the South Bay area of Los Angeles and travel nationally, working with athletes, of all levels and ages, from beginners to Olympic hopefuls and pros.
Absolutely. Training with us helps beginners become good, good players become great, and great players elite. The higher an athlete's ambitions the more important it becomes. Sport psychology addresses the mental and emotional aspects of competition, helping athletes to develop resilience, manage stress, and maintain focus under pressure.
We offer sport psychology services through individual and group-based sessions designed to enhance mental performance. By working closely with athletes, coaches, and sports organizations, our comprehensive services empower athletes to overcome challenges, improve focus, mental toughness, and achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
Anyone can call themselves a mental skills coach or become “certified.” This is deceiving as certification is often obtained through short courses or online programs with no universally recognized level of qualification.

Training mental skills while still developing physical skills creates a foundation to serve athletes throughout their athletic careers, providing an edge over athletes with similar size, speed, and talent. Athletes who train their mental game develop increased mental toughness, enhanced focus, the ability to handle stress and manage emotions, and consistent performance on the field.
Elite high school, college, and pro athletes achieve success by combining talent with hard work and dedication over time. This blend of skill, effort, and consistency enables them to push past limits, continually improve, and stay ahead of the competition. Adding mental game training is necessary to fine-tune the cognitive and emotional aspects of performance, helping to manage anxiety and maintain focus during high-stress situations. Minor tweaks in the ability to perform under pressure make a big difference.
